Dayton Ohio’s first indoor dock diving pool is starting off with a two-day fun competition. There will be a total of 8 SPLASH’s over two days as well as open swim in between the competition.
Vendors and Food trucks will be there both days as well. Please watch Facebook for updates.
During the competition, each team will get three jumps to make their longest leap. Each handler will have three minutes for three jumps. The top three splashers of each division will get a prize. Divisions are determined by length of jump.
If you have never competed in dock diving we recommend you sign up for open swim and then sign up for a SPLASH if your dog jumps off the dock.
To participate you must bring your dogs vaccines or titers.
Please be sure to fill out the Registration Form to save your dog's spot!
Divisions:
- NOVICE – 10’ and under
- LEVEL 1 – 10.1’ – 14.11’’
- LEVEL 2 – 15’ – 17.11’’
- LEVEL 3 – 18’ – 20.11’
- LEVEL 4 – 21’- 24.11’
- LEVEL 5 – 25’ and above
Because this is a fun competition we chose to make divisions a mix of all three of the competition organizations to ensure not one format is singled out.
Open swim will be offered on a first come basis for $10 per day. Each handler will receive a number and will be expected to be at dock entrance when number is called. Each team will receive 2 mins on the dock to swim or jump.
Competition cost is $20 per SPLASH

Saturday, August 27th 9:00am - 9:00pm
- SPLASH 1 – 10:00 am
- SPLASH 2 – 1:00 pm
- SPLASH 3 – 4:00 pm
- SPLASH 4 – 7:00 pm
Sunday, August 28th 9:00am - 9:00pm
- SPLASH 1 – 10:00 am
- SPLASH 2 – 1:00 pm
- SPLASH 3 – 4:00 pm
- SPLASH 4 – 7:00 pm
What to Bring:
- Leash, no retractable leashes allowed
- Your dogs favorite toy (please make sure it floats)
- Life jacket if needed
- Poop bags
- Crate
- Water and water bowl
Even though the pool is inside we ask that you do NOT set up your crate in the dock room. The training room will be available for crate set up to ensure your dog’s stays out of the sun. All vendors and food trucks will be outside in the parking lot.
